Saturday 03.12.11

So... A couple weeks ago Ben told me that I needed to pack an over night bag for Saturday the 12th and that's all he would tell me (even though I of course asked questions) He went with his brother Josh and friend Joe to go shed hunting that morning and was going to come back around 5 so we could drop the baby off and go do what he had planned. So I went the my friend Monica's house for her son Micheal's birthday, Rhyder and I had hung out there for awhile and then went home so I could pack my overnight bag. We had a lot of fun! When we got home Ben's mom Janet watched the baby so I could get ready for my HOT date! When Ben picked us up we went and dropped the baby off and we were on our way! We went to Ruby River and had a nice dinner and then went to the ANNIVERSARY INN! It was so fun! We had a western theme room our bed was a wagon, the bath tub was huge, it had a big screen t.v. the shower head was a bucket with holes on the bottom. There was also a saddle. It was so nice to spend the night with just the 2 of us and relax! We were in bed sleeping by 9:30!! :D We had such a great weekend and enjoyed our time together!

Update...

Sorry it has been so long since the last blog! With a full time job, being a mom to a 7 month old and a wife things can get CRAZY!!! A lot has happened... Well Rhyder started crawling, it happened so fast it unbelievable! He stands up to everything he can! I think he will be walking shortly... I absolutely LOVE being a mom! It is the most amazing feeling and wonderful opportunity. For those of you who have kids you know it can be hard and exhausting... especially if your child does NOT sleep worth anything (like Rhyder)... Ben always says "Our next kid better have my sleeping habits" (which let me tell you is... he hits the bed and is out!! Not joking) Rhyder and I on the other hand sleep like pure POOP!!! Oh well he will someday hopefully sleep ha ha

Last weekend Rhyder and I went to St. George with my mom, Dave (step dad), Destinee (lil sister), and Dakoda (lil brother). We had a BLAST!!! Dest and I followed everyone else in my car down there. We sat by the pool for awhile, the hot tub was about bath tub water warm and was cool enough for Rhyder so we put him in with his little floating outfit and passed him around ha ha he loved it, he probably was in there for a good 2 hours! Sunday came so fast and it was time to come home! I was sad but happy at the same time... I loved being in the warm weather but miss my hubby! On the way home I got a text from Ben saying that we needed a baby sitter for the baby Sat night to Sun... I needed to pack an overnight bag and NOT to look at the bank account LoL I am so tempted but do not want to ruin the surprise...
