Alright... I am giong to have a venting session... :)
Ben has been working nights for quite awhile now and can I just say I absolutely HATE it! I hate being home alone at night and feel like I don't ever get to see him. This is how it goes. Wednesday Ben goes in at midnight so I come home from work at about 6pm and see him until I go to bed (he lays in bed until I fall asleep) then Thursday he sleeps until about 4:30 then he goes to work at 5:15, by the time I get off and get Rhyder Ben is already one to work. Same thing happens on Fridays, Saturdays Rhyder and I wake him up about 3 and we hangout with him until about 5:15 and he is off to work. Sundays he sleeps until about noon and then he hangs out with Rhyder and I. Ben has Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights off!!! Monday's and Tuesday's I work until about 6 then come home and do dinner then most the time lay down since I have not been feeling good. Same thing again on Wednesday! I can't wait until he is done working nights! Hopefully he will be done in a few weeks.

1st Dr's Visit
On Tuesday I had a doctor's apptointment. Usually Ben would have been at work but since he has been working another shift he was able to go! Rhyder also tagged along with us to hear the baby's heart beat. When we got there they were so excited I was back and brought the family :D They could not get over how big Rhyder has gotten! Crazy enough I weigh the same as when I went in for my first appt with Rhyder. (LESS on my scale) We got to hear the heart beat which was in the 170's healthy and strong. My doctor also said that my uterus was the size of a 14 week baby, if you go by the original (mensteral cycle) I would be 10 weeks 3 days. She said she didnt know if it just didn't go all the way done from Rhyder since he was so big. Unless I go get an ultrasound we are just going with 10 weeks 3 days until I do get an ultrasound! It was a good appt and I can't wait until the next time we get to go in :D

March 2012 Baby!!
Yes, that's right... We are EXPECTING again!!!
It all started when we went to the country fest in South Jordan the end of June. We met some friends at the country fest and were havin such a great time until the girls decided to go on roller coaster which I absolutely LOVE!!!! I could go on them ALL day... well, not this time. I felt so sick afterwards. When we left Ben stopped at Wendys to get some dinner. I was so sick I couldn't even smell food. The second we walked in our front door me and all the things I was carrying went straight to the bathroom and puked.
At that moment I knew something was not right! I had never in my life got sick from a rollercoaster! Over July 4th we went to a friends cabin for a nice little vacation with friends and family. Ususally the smell of liquor doesnt make me sick but this weekend was totally different! I could smell it from so far away and would get SO nauseated! I kept telling my mom I must be pregnant or something cuz this is not like me. When we came home I still was not feeling right, I kept telling my mom that I didnt feel good or like myself! Her response was always "why don't you go take a test?"
Let me give you a little insight of how I feel about pregenancy tests! HA HA When I thought I was pregnant with Rhyder I took 4 take home test and they ALL came back - NEGATIVE! But, sure enough I was pregnant, with that being said I don't trust these things!
Me being me I just kept telling my mom that there was NO point in taking one since it would just say negative anyways! I never really did tell Ben how I felt cuz his response is ususally you have stomach problems and don't feel good so what is new... lol I finally broke down and decided that since I was going to the store anyways I would just buy one and take it, then I could also tell my mom I did and nothing! So I bought a box of 3 incase I needed them all. :)
Rhyder and I left the store and went home. I sat there and just starred at the tests to get up the courage. I finally went in and took the test, I immediatley walked out of the bathroom and picked Rhyder up. He was my finding out buddy! We went back in and looked at what I saw as 2 pink lines. I was in such shock that I couldn't smile, couldn't cry and couldn't talk! I had stuck in my head that even if I was it was not going to come back positive and there I was flabber gasted by the 2 pink lines.
I have always wanted to tell Ben in a cute way so I tried my hardest to not call or text him until he got home which was an hour later. I grabbed a white onsie out of Rhyder's drawer and wrote "I am going to be a BIG brother" on it so when Ben got home he would read it. I was still in shock and excited at this point so when he got home I picked Rhyder up and went to the front door. When Ben looked at him and read the shirt he looked at me with a serious face and said "how do you know?" (Ben had NO idea I thought I was or was taking a test)I started laughing and said I took a test. It's in the bathroom. His response was I need to go for a run haha Rhyder and I of course went with him but just walked. It took us both a few days to get over the shock (I even took another test the next morning). We did get over the shock and we are very excited. I can't wait to find out what we are having and tell everyone! I hope for a girl but Ben thinks it's a boy! We will see and keep you posted! My 1st appt is August 16th!

Rhyder's 1st year!!!
OMG... I can't believe that Rhyder is 1, this year has gone by SO fast and he has grown a lot! I was talking to my mom today about what he has done and how advanced he is for his age and thought it would be fun to share with you! Here are a few things that he has done along the way!
3 weeks he started holding his own head up
3 months he was eating baby food
4 months he started sitting up on his own
6 months he started pulling himself up to things and eating regular food
7 months he was crawling ALL over
8 months he decided to start walking EVERYWHERE, he got RSV and had to get tubes.
9 months is when he thought it would be a good time to pop out 2 teeth while mom and dad were on vacation. He also decided it was time to start crawling UP the stairs.
10 months he discovered how to run and then began going DOWN the stairs (yes there is still a gate up)
He has a HUGE vocabulary... Some of his favorite words to say are: deer, hat, dog, elk, up, down, hi, bye, bite, that, more, mama, dada, baba, ball, and nana (banana)
He LOVES to be outside, waving, dogs, riding on the 4 wheeler, and hats. He will take the phone and hold it up to his ear and says hi then looks at us and laughs. It has been a fun and exhausting year in our house hold. There was a point where he had an ear infection for about 3 months straight and got RSV. He is now sleeping pretty much through the night and is usually SO happy! He is starting to understand what we tell him to do, for example he will take the remote or our phones and walk away with them and then come back, we will tell him to go get the remote (or whatever he took) and he will go get it and then bring it back to us. He is noticing things more, we will ask where the trees are and he will point to them. He will point at a deer and say deer. Rhyder has somewhere learned how to smack his lips together and that means he wants food hahahaha! He has started to get shy/stranger danger and cry when one of us leaves which breaks my heart!
I will say when I was pregnant I would always say I hope he is smart and is a happy baby and I will say we are extremely blessed that he is just that. With him being our first baby we didn't really know how advanced he was. People would tell us but we didn't think anything of it until we were at the hospital for him to get his tubes there was another little boy that was 14 months and his mom was shocked Rhyder could walk (8 months) and was telling us how her little boy couldn't crawl and hadn't even started trying to and that is when I realized that No I didn't want my little baby to grow up but that I was PROUD at how smart and good he is!

Ahh... Relieved
So... I got a new job and I will start the 1st of August! I have dreading telling my current boss since I am not good at things like that! But I decided that I was going to give a months notice since I will most likely have to train whoever takes my place. When I came into work today I told myself today needed to be the day that I tell him! So when he went to leave I told him I needed to talk to him, so I followed him outside and told him that July 29th would be my last day! I am so relieved, it feels so good to get it off my chest!

Anniversary Weekend!
June 13Th was our 2 year anniversary! Since it was a Monday I decided I wanted to do something have a weekend away to just relax and enjoy each other. My mom got us a condo in Eden, UT for our anniversary so when we got off work Friday we threw everything in the car and were off! I had my mom get Rhyder from the baby sitters so we could just go! On the way up there we just talked listened to music and enjoyed the scenery... When we got up there we checked in and then went to dinner at a nice restaurant (which we didn't know) we walked in with our jeans and tee's on :D They had a live band playing which was fun to listen to Ben make fun of them (they weren't very good) ha ha after dinner we decided to go back to the condo and hangout so we just went back watched t.v. and went to bed early! The next morning we woke up and just hung out around the condo and make pizza then we got ready and headed to pine view reservoir to go fishing. We had a blast! We caught some fish and decided to head back when we got to the condo I was dying to go sit in the pool and hot tub so we headed there. It was so crowded we sat there for a bit and started to get hungry so we went back and got ready for dinner. On the way to dinner we decided to go to Ogden's liquor store which I must say was an adventure ha ha then off to dinner we went! I must say hands down that Huntsville's BBQ Company has some of the BEST BBQ I have EVER had! It was so good, nice atmosphere and was just a fun place! After dinner we were driving back to the condo and decided we should go night fishing which was fun! I loved spending the weekend away but yet not to far and just having hubby and me time! It was relaxing and nice, just what we needed! I will post pictures another day!

Our Family!
Here is a tiny update about what is going on with our family lately. Rhyder has been doing SO much better since he got his tubes in. He has started sleeping much better at night (more sleep for mom) :D Friday May 6th Ben and I went up to the family property in fruitland and stayed the night. Ben found some nice sheds. We came home Saturday and went to our friends Jason and Jessica wedding. Which was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Then Sunday was mother's day, we had Josh, Kim and Hunter over for breakfast with Janet (Ben's mom) then we went to the bowling alley to see Suzie (my step mom) then we went to my mom's house for dinner. It was such a nice relaxing day! This past weekend Ben and I decided it would be fun to take the baby up to fruitland and go on a 4 wheeler ride. It was supposed to be nice on Saturday so we woke up at 6 a.m. and headed up there. It was cold and windy but we did have so much fun. Then Saturday we got home and I went to Maggie McGee to celebrate my friend Aubrey's birthday. Ben had to work Sunday so I spent some time with my mom and sister. Ben came to my mom's after work and we had a BBQ... After dinner we decided that rhyder was in major need of a hair cut so Ben and Dave (my step dad) got out the clipper and went to town!!!! Rhyder looks so cute with his new do!!
